| Vadim | I have heard a lot about this book. But I do not like to read about war and events that happened long ago. |
| Olya | Well, I think, this book is about people, not about war. It is not a historical novel. The author depicts the changes in character and views of the people v face difficulties. |
| Vadim | And what kind of difficulties do the main characters face? |
| Olya | They had to overcome their fear every day. Some of them fell in love. And that also changed their attitude towards the war. |
| Vadim | I do not think that people are able to love during the war. |
| Olya | If you read this book, you will understand that it is always possible to stay strong and be able to share feelings. This book changed a lot in my views. Now I think that the most important thing in life is to find understanding and support and be able to take care of somebody. |
| Vadim | Well, I will read this book when I have time. |
